Job Description
General responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
  • Teach courses covering Contemporary Art and Modern Art, and Survey
  • Teach additional courses depending on area of expertise
  • Prepare and execute all work for assigned class including syllabi preparation, instruction delivery, and student assessment
  • Maintain regular, published office hours for students

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include:
  • Master's degree in the field, appropriate terminal degree (PhD, DMA, MFA) preferred

If hired, candidates will need to provide official transcripts for their highest degree.
Physical Demands
This position requires remaining in a sitting or standing position for frequent periods of time; uses office machinery such as a computers, printers, copy machines; Occasionally involves lifting over 10 pounds; frequently will move between different offices/workspaces/buildings; and requires effective communication abilities with students.
