Location: St. Mary’s Hospital – Madison, WI
Schedule: Wednesday – Sunday | 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Position: Full-Time | Onsite

We are looking for a dependable team member to join our linen services team at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison.

This position works Wednesdays through Sundays from 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Because of the early start time, applicants must have reliable transportation and consistently arrive on time for the 4:00 AM shift.

PURPOSE

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for filling and moving linen carts to assigned areas throughout the hospital. Provides a high level of linen service in a friendly, professional, and timely manner while meeting established quality and safety standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

JOB QUALIFICATIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is a physically active position. Employees must be able to:

  • Stand and walk for extended periods, potentially up to 12 hours
  • Push and pull wheeled clean and soiled linen carts weighing up to 800 lbs.
  • Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, and pull
  • Use sufficient manual dexterity to build and organize linen carts
  • Accurately perform basic mathematics
  • Safely perform the essential physical functions of the position throughout the workday
