The Country Inn & Suites is seeking an energetic and detail oriented full time Houseperson/Linen Runner who is looking to be a part of our fun and dynamic work environment.

Compensation starts at $20.00/hour, with benefits and potential for growth into Supervisor role. Housepersons/Linen Runners are an essential part of our hotel team. In addition to delivering guest amenities, cleaning public areas, washing laundry, and cleaning guestrooms, Housepersons help build and maintain the look and image of the hotel.

Room Attendant will be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms daily in accordance with Country Inn & Suites standards. Specifically, Room Attendants will be entrusted with the below job responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares bed and bath linens
  • Delivers guest amenities
  • Inspects and cleans public areas and restrooms
  • Strips, cleans, and straightens rooms
  • Displays and replaces amenities and promotional materials
  • Remove trash, soiled linen, etc. and take to appropriate area for pick up
  • Maintains supplies necessary to clean rooms efficiently
  • Utilize the proper cleaning methods to prevent injury
  • Keeps supply carts stocked
  • Laundry, pressing and folding, towels, linen, etc.
  • Report deficiencies in guest rooms and on guest floors to the housekeeping/engineering management team
  • Ensure cleanliness of guest room hallways, elevators, public areas and service corridors in accordance with hotel standards
  • Inventory and maintain the cleanliness of the linen closets
  • Project an image of professionalism, friendliness and willingness to provide personalized service to our guests
  • Set, stock, and maintain guestrooms and spaces in line with brand standards
  • Adhere to the hotel's lost and found policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to work in the US and possess all necessary documents listed on I-9 and verified through E-Verify.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience working in a hotel housekeeping environment that provides a superior level of guest service and professionalism
  • Ability to work quickly while maintaining a close attention to detail
  • Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks at once
