Job description

Title: Sr. Estimator / Preconstruction Manager
Location: Based in Canby, OR (National Coverage)


Wilson Construction Co. (Wilson) has an immediate opening in our Canby, OR office for an experienced professional, Sr. Estimator / Preconstruction Manager with a positive, results-oriented attitude and the willingness to provide valuable impact to our project teams. Successful candidates should have relevant experience in construction management for large-scale electrical utility construction projects. Our ideal candidate will be an organized and motivated self-starter.


This position's responsibilities include developing, organizing, managing, and executing the proposal and preconstruction phase of large-scale electrical utility projects.

Estimation and Proposal management: Working closely to develop proposal work plans, estimates, align subcontractor scopes, and ensure overall construction resources are best aligned for project award.
Preconstruction Management: Support all logistics, planning, documentation, and administrative efforts post contract award.


Requirements:
Ten years of increasing construction leadership or project management related to electrical utility maintenance and/or construction;
Experience with estimating, field investigations,
Background in work plan development or project planning;
Journeyman Lineman and/or Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial technology, construction management, business, with equivalent work experience;
Proficiency in MS Office. Microsoft Project and Primavera skills are beneficial;
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
Strong attention to detail;
Willingness to work outside and travel as required;
This position will be based in Canby, OR. Candidates must reside within a reasonable driving distance from our office or be willing to relocate.


Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
