Tampa, FL

Facility:
This is a well-established hospital-based radiation center equipped with state-of-the-art technology including two linear accelerators (TrueBeam 2018 and Halcyon 2024), a Flexitron HDR afterloader (2024), and a Siemens CT simulator (2015). The facility is also installing a Mevion S250-FIT proton accelerator set to go live in Q2 2026. The cancer program is certified by both the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer and the American College of Radiology, registering approximately 1,600 new cancer cases annually.

Radiation Oncology- ASAP and ongoing need

Job Details:
• Full-time coverage required on-site from 8am-4pm with night call responsibilities- call back VERY minimal when on call
• Primary clinical practice will be at a hospital-based radiation center in Tampa
• Utilize advanced treatment planning software including Eclipse TPS, ARIA OIS, and MIM software
• Experience with clinical proton therapy is highly desirable
• Board certification required
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Florida license or IMLC required
• Skills preferred include various brachytherapy techniques (intracavitary, interstitial, vascular)
• Experience with external beam therapy including linear accelerator, Rapid Arc/VMAT, electrons, and Tomotherapy
• Proficiency in multiple radiation techniques including conventional/conformal therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, and more
• Treatment planning experience including conventional planning, beam shaping, 3D CRT, IMRT, and image fusion • Participation in clinical trials preferred

Compensation: Very Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. FULL TRAVEL
