Job description

Staffing Inc is partnered with a client in Charlotte, MI who is actively looking to hire qualified individuals for Fabrication positions who are ready to start as soon as possible! The ideal candidate will be able to complete a drug screen and background check, and more.
Benefits:
  • Full time position, temp to hire
  • $18.00/hr
  • 10 hour days
  • 5am-3:30pm work schedule
  • Clean work environment & great culture
  • Overtime as needed

Responsibilities:
  • Operate machinery such as cutoff saws, shears, rolls, brakes, presses, forming machines, spinning machines that stretch, punch, cut, shape, and bend metal, lineal, sheets, tubes, or parts.
  • Racking, un-racking and inspecting all parts.
  • Hand loads parts on and off machines.
  • Fill out and complete all necessary paperwork.
  • Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
  • Maintain a clean environment while maintaining safety standards.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Read / write / speak English.
  • Ability to stand for 10 hour shifts.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Pass a background test and drug screen.
