Job description

SHIFT: Choose a consistent, set schedule of five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts (typically 10:30 AM-8:30 PM), including one weekend day Saturday or Sunday

Are you someone who enjoys fixing equipment, maintaining buildings, and keeping operations running smoothly? We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to help maintain our facility, equipment, and building systems in a safe, fast-paced environment.
Whether your background is in facility maintenance, industrial maintenance, commercial buildings, manufacturing, or mechanical maintenance, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll Do
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, building systems, and mechanical assets.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building-related issues.
  • Inspect and maintain the facility, including exterior grounds and physical structures.
  • Complete routine inspections and basic repairs on refrigeration systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Document completed maintenance, inspections, and repairs, and communicate equipment issues to leadership.
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, and other maintenance equipment.
  • Perform basic welding and metal fabrication as needed.
  • Support the maintenance team with additional projects to keep the facility operating safely and efficiently.
What We're Looking For
  • At least 1 year of experience (or a combination of trade school and experience) in one or more of the following:
    • Facility or building maintenance
    • Mechanical or industrial maintenance
    • Material handling equipment (forklifts, conveyors, etc.)
    • Refrigeration maintenance (ammonia, Freon, or CO is a plus)
  • Experience performing preventive maintenance and basic equipment troubleshooting.
  • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment.
  • Basic computer skills to complete maintenance documentation.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work with team members across the facility.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment, including temperatures ranging from -20F in freezer areas to 100F in dry storage areas (company-provided freezer gear and PPE are provided).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends, as needed.
  • Some locations may require working at heights and around industrial equipment with varying noise levels.
