Summary:
Safely operate authorized production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Read and interpret blueprints. Adjust machine settings to accurately complete tasks according to specifications and in a timely fashion. Perform manual tasks such as package, crate, label, count, and sort products. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Required to understand and follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Required to understand and follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all guard and safety equipment have been installed and properly checked.
  • Required to understand and follow work procedures as set forth by all ISO documentation.
  • Safely operate machine assigned by the line lead, team leader, supervisor, or manager.
  • Read and interpret blueprints whenever required by operation.
  • Required to maintain quality standards on all products.
  • Check parts dimensionally with calipers and measuring tools to maintain engineering drawing tolerances.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with co-workers, line lead, team leader, supervisor, and manager.
  • Responsible to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Adhere to ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and OSHAS 18001 certification requirements.
  • Requires regular attendance per the schedule assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge and Skill Requirement:
This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:
  • High school diploma or its equivalent is desired.
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within manufacturing environment.

Environmental / Atmospheric Conditions:
  • Typical office/factory environment with possibility of exposure to heat in production areas.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. in a safe manner.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive motion. Examples: walking, reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods of time.
  • Clarity of vision and the ability to focus on a fast and repetitious operation for extended periods of time.
  • Exposure to machine noise levels (hearing protections is required).
  • Exposure to heavy equipment or components needed to produce product (safety toed shoes are required).
  • Exposure to electrical and mechanical moving parts.
  • Exposure to sparks, chips, and dust (eye protection required).
