Job description

Experienced Line Cook w/ Banquet Experience.
Essential Functions: 
  • Pre-prepare items required for the workstation according to par sheets or instructions from the executive chef and sous chef. 
  • Prepare products assigned to his/her workstation during service.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Prepares meats, seafood, vegetables, and other items required for line and special function purposes.
  • Carefully follow standard recipes when pre-preparing and preparing all items.
  • Uses food preparation equipment according to manufacturers' instructions.
  • Cleans workstation and equipment.
  • Returns unused food products to proper food storage areas. 
  • Assists with the preparation of other food products on the serving line, as needed.
  • Consistently uses safe and sanitary food handling procedures.
  • Returns soiled food preparation utensils and other small ware items to the proper areas. 

Schedule:
  • Must be available for a variety of shifts including weekdays, holidays, weekends, and nights. 

Education:
  • High school or equivalent. (Preferred)

Experience:
  • Restaurant experience: 1 year. (Preferred) 
  • Banquet experience: 1 year. (Preferred)
