A full-time, non-exempt Line Cook that will assist in the pre-preparation of food for our members, guests, the owner/family and others. Must be at least 18 years of age and have a minimum of a high school diploma which is required. Previous hospitality industry cooking experience preferred.

Requirements:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


  • Assists cooks in their tasks.
  • Obtains necessary products and small equipment items required for food preparation.
  • Carefully follows the club’s standard recipes while preparing all assigned items.
  • Follow manufacturers’ instructions when operating food production and serving equipment.
  • Consistently uses safe and sanitary food handling practices including those related to personal hygiene.
  • Returns soiled food preparation utensils and other small wares to the proper areas.
  • Maintains a clean workstation, including equipment used for food preparation.
  • Attends department meetings.
  • Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Sous Chef.
  • Able to interact productively and positively with co-workers.
  • Able to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures.
  • Receive constructive feedback in a professional manner.
  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the ranch due to hunting seasons or event demands.
  • Perform any other job-related duties assigned by a manager.
