Job description

Company Overview

FEAM Aero is the MRO leader in Aircraft Line Maintenance Engineering in the U.S. FEAM leads the line maintenance industry with advanced aircraft repair capabilities, a wide line station network, and approvals for current and nextโ€‘generation aircraft including B787 and A350.

Job Duties

Perform line maintenance (onโ€‘call and scheduled) on various passenger aircraft. Perform routine maintenance and airworthiness releases within the scope of approval, returning aircraft to service. Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, aircraft engines, and associated components to meet deadlines and performance goals. Troubleshoot systems; disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components to maintain fully functioning equipment according to approved technical data. Ensure departing aircraft are safe per FARs, manufacturer manuals, and that all work is properly documented. Collaborate and communicate with the air carrierโ€™s maintenance control center as required.

Basic Qualifications
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Must pass airport security background checks and travel for work as required.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a current valid driverโ€™s license.
  • Must have a current valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant license.
  • 1 year of line maintenance experience is required.
  • A320 General Familiarization Certificate.
  • Frequent ability to stand, walk, continually utilize hand and finger dexterity, climb, balance, bend, or crawl, occasionally from heights in precarious places.
  • Frequent lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds.
  • Awareness of working near mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic chemicals, and exposure to loud noises.
  • Experience reading technical information and operating equipment.
  • Exposure to outdoor and nonโ€‘weather conditions such as extreme heat or cold.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 to 5 years of line maintenance experience on Airbus 319, 320, and Airbus NEO.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Compensation and Benefits

FEAM offers supplemental benefits to all eligible fullโ€‘time employees, including medical, dental, and vision plans; vacation and sick time; shortโ€‘ and longโ€‘term disability; accidental insurance; supplemental life; FSA; and critical illness insurance. The company provides EASA Level Technical Aviation Training and EASA 147 maintenance training. Work weeks include 4โ€‘day and 3โ€‘day schedules.
