Job Description:
A Line Attendant at Maker's Pride is a hands-on manufacturing role focused on food assembly, packaging, and quality inspection on fast-paced conveyor lines.
Role Overview
Core Function: Keeps production lines moving smoothly by loading packaging materials, sorting and packing food items (such as croutons, salad dressings, or bakery goods), and stacking finished products for shipping.
Work Environment: Physical and fast-paced. Requires standing for long periods, repetitive lifting (up to 30 lbs), and working in varied temperatures depending on the department (e.g., cool/chilled processing areas).
Primary Responsibilities
Production & Packaging: Hand-pack, weigh, label, and box finished goods; supply raw materials and containers to packaging lines.
Quality Assurance: Inspect moving products for visual defects, weight accuracy, damaged packaging, or improper labels, immediately removing non-conforming items.
Sanitation & Food Safety: Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety protocols, and cleanliness guidelines (wearing hairnets, avoiding jewelry/nail polish, and keeping work zones sanitary).
Teamwork: Communicate continuously with machine operators, line leads, and fellow attendants to clear jams and keep line speeds on targe
