Staff Management Group is seeking a Line Leader for our client in Monroe, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.


Schedule:

  • 1st Shift: 7:30AM – 4PM
  • Monday - Friday
  • Plus Overtime


Pay Rate:

  • $18 - $20 / hour


Job Summary:

We’re hiring a Line Leader to support production operations. This role is responsible for leading the assembly line team, ensuring production goals are met, maintaining quality standards, and assisting supervisors with daily operational tasks.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support production line associates during daily operations
  • Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements are met
  • Communicate shortages, delays, and production issues to the Supervisor
  • Set up the production line prior to shift start and verify correct materials
  • Monitor assembly processes to ensure accuracy and defect-free output
  • Complete hourly production tracking and Daily Assembly Reports
  • Verify labeling, batch codes, and finished goods documentation
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Assist with productivity monitoring and continuous improvement efforts
  • Participate in 8D report preparation, when required.


Job Requirements:

  • MUST be bilingual - English AND Spanish.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred
  • Previous leadership or team lead experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Perform repetitive motions including bending, lifting, and reaching
  • Safety shoes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
