What is a line associate?

Line Associates are workers who perform tasks on a production or assembly line in factories or manufacturing plants. Their responsibilities typically include assembling products, inspecting items for quality, packaging goods, and ensuring that production targets and safety standards are met. Line Associates often work as part of a team, following specific instructions and processes to keep the production line running smoothly. This job usually requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to stand for extended periods. Training is often provided on the job, and positions may be entry-level or require prior manufacturing experience.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a line associate, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Line Associate, you need strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow standardized procedures, often with a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with basic manufacturing equipment, safety protocols, and sometimes barcode scanning or inventory systems is typically required. Teamwork, reliability, and effective communication are important soft skills that set top performers apart. These abilities ensure production efficiency, product quality, and a safe, collaborative work environment.

What are some common challenges faced by line associates in a manufacturing environment, and how can they be addressed?

Line Associates often encounter challenges such as maintaining consistent speed and quality during repetitive tasks, adapting to changes in production schedules, and ensuring safety in a fast-paced environment. These can be addressed through thorough onboarding, clear communication with supervisors, and ongoing training on equipment and safety protocols. Collaborating with team members and staying attentive to workflow adjustments can also help Line Associates adapt more easily and maintain productivity.

Job description

Associate Veterinarian (DVM)

Bear Creek Animal Hospital is building out our team, and we're looking for an Associate DVM to grow with us. Whether you're board-certified in a specialty, working toward one, or simply a GP with a special interest you want room to develop, we want to talk to you.

We've invested in a modern, well-equipped hospital, including a fully equipped surgical suite capable of supporting orthopedic procedures and advanced surgery, because we believe doctors do their best work when they have the right tools from day one. As we grow our caseload, you'll have real input into shaping the kind of medicine we practice here.

Have a specialty license or a special interest? We want to hear from you, whether that's orthopedics, urgent care, dermatology, reproduction, or another focused area of medicine. You don't need the extra letters after your name to bring a specialty focus to our team. You just need the interest and the drive to build it. This is an especially good time to join: we're actively looking to grow case volume in these focused areas, which means you'd help shape that service line from the ground up, with our support in mentorship, equipment access, and case development.

Prefer general practice? You'll have the space and support to build clinical depth over time, without being buried in back-to-back appointments. You'll work alongside experienced doctors invested in your growth.

Whatever your path, boarded specialist, DVM working toward one, GP with a focused interest, or GP looking to grow, Bear Creek Animal Hospital offers the chance to build a career around your own professional goals, with a hospital that's investing in where it's headed, not just where it's been.

Why Bear Creek

  • New phase of growth with room for new ideas
  • Modern facility designed for efficient, high-quality care
  • Team-first environment with consistent support
  • Diverse caseload across wellness, dentistry, and complex medicine

What you will do

  • Provide medical care across preventive, diagnostic, and surgical cases
  • Perform or assist with orthopedic procedures based on your skill level
  • Educate clients with clear, direct communication
  • Collaborate with a trained support team for case management
  • Build efficiency while maintaining quality care

Location

Wentzville, Missouri sits under an hour from St. Louis. You get a growing community with strong schools, local markets, and outdoor access. Lake St. Louis offers boating and recreation. St. Louis provides sports, dining, and entertainment within easy reach.

What we are looking for

  • DVM with Missouri licensure or eligibility
  • Strong communication and teamwork
  • Commitment to client education and quality care
  • Professional presence with staff and clients

Benefits and perks

  • Compensation $110,000 to $140,000 annually
  • Bonus incentives
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401k and Roth 401k with company match
  • CE allowance and licensure reimbursement
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Defined career path development
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Mental health resources
  • Relocation support
  • DVM referral program

Bear Creek offers a clear path to grow clinically while working in a structured, supportive environment. Apply to start the conversation.

Pay Range

USD $110,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.
