Job description

Title: Manufacturing Support Technician

Organization: Cell Therapy Manufacturing

Shift: Day 12 hour rotating, 2-3-2 days on, days off

Summary: The Manufacturing Support Technician will be responsible for completing tasks in support of production and aseptic processing of clinical and commercial grade products. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining, stocking, and set-up of clean room environment.

Job Duties:

  • Participates in supporting roles as part of GMP production of cell therapies including Cryopreservation of FDP, Filter Integrity Testing, and Visual Inspection.
  • Coordinates autoclaving of supporting materials, components, and/or records for Manufacturing processes
  • Operation of manual, semi-automated, and automated equipment in support of routine clinical and commercial production
  • Operating equipment such as Controlled Rate Freezer, SARTO, Heat Sealer, Autoclave, etc.
  • Knowledgeable of GMP systems including LIMS, SAP, MODA-ES, Traka, etc.
  • Routine inventory of related materials
  • Other job duties as assigned
