The Senior Advisor I, LIMS Engineer serves as a senior technical expert supporting critical laboratory information systems, with a focus on ensuring stability, performance, and continuous improvement of business-critical applications. This role partners closely with laboratory, business, and IT teams to deliver scalable solutions, drive system enhancements, and support operational excellence across the enterprise.

What You'll Do

  • Lead system administration, configuration, and support for laboratory information systems, ensuring reliability and performance of tier 1 applications.
  • Serve as a senior escalation point to diagnose and resolve complex incidents, defects, and system issues while providing guidance to technical teams.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain application code and integrations, ensuring alignment with business requirements and performance standards.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define user stories, and translate needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Support system integrations across platforms such as SAP, reporting tools, and laboratory instrumentation systems, including troubleshooting interfaces and data exchanges.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives including workflow optimization, reporting modernization, and system upgrades.
  • Contribute to and execute application roadmaps, ensuring priorities align with business goals and technology strategies.
  • Coordinate with vendors, managed service providers, and cross-functional teams to manage incidents, enhancements, and service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security, data integrity, and regulatory standards through testing, validation, and documentation.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, support testing activities, and ensure high-quality delivery throughout the software development lifecycle.

What You'll Bring - Required

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3 or more years of experience supporting laboratory systems, manufacturing systems, or business-critical applications
  • Intermediate proficiency with LIMS platforms (e.g., LabVantage) and application development practices
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, system integrations, API development, and troubleshooting complex interfaces

Compensation Range 

This position has a base salary range of $140,400 - $171,600.
