Job description

Laboratory Sample / Material Coordinator - I

Location - DeSoto, KS (hybrid remote with 3 days onsite) Pay Rate - $22/hr

This is a sample management/Master Data maintainer role.

Education: Minimum: High School required. Associate/bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience: 1-5 years of relevant experience with LIMS, master data set up and sample management.

Skills required: Basic laboratory experience. Experience using Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook). Basic mathematical skills (adding/subtracting). Ability to work with cold materials using appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment). Ability to work in cold temperature/freezers (temperature can vary from -20 degree C to 70 degree C). Ability to work with Liquid nitrogen (additional PPE will be provided for that).

Skills preferred: Experience using Labware LIMS (preferred). Experience with Labware LIMS master data set up (preferred).

Physical: Lifting up to 20lbs. Sometimes lifting above the shoulders will be needed as well.

Personality: Detail oriented. Collaborative. Team player. Eager to ask questions. Quick learner. Follows SOP's. Flexible and adaptable.

Note: Onsite role. 6 months with potentiality to extend. Position available: 2.

Responsibilities:

About project: The project will consist of implementing phases of Labware LIMS software. The initial phase will be implementing the Labware LIMS SRIM module for all of our frozen biomaterials. The estimated time required for this initial phase of the LIMS implementation will be six months. After that, we will move on to implementation of the next phases of LIMS implementation which will be set up of master data for release testing and stability testing modules.

For the initial phase, contractors will assist with inventory of freezer biomaterial contents and master data set up in Labware LIMS for these biomaterials.
