Job description

Busy orthopedic office located in Thousand Oaks looking for a limited x-ray tech to work Monday - Friday. Must be willing to answer phones, room and great patients and be a team player!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures

- Use proper radiation protection and shielding materials

- Log X-Rays and ensure all radiographic interpretation is free of discrepancies

- Maintain clean exam rooms after each patient

- Answering phones and scheudling patients

- Create encounter notes for each patient

- Room patients

- Able to multi-task and work under pressure

- Eager to learn new skills

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Limited Scope X-Ray License Required
  • Appropriate state license for nuclear safety
  • Certified in Phlebotomy a plus (not required)

Job Type: 20 - 32 hours a week
