Job description

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Traveling Assistant Electrical Project Manager in Anywhere, USA for a direct hire opportunity with our client. As a trusted partner in the construction industry, we connect top talent with top companies across the United States. 

Job Type: Direct Placement
Pay: $75,000 to $95,000 Per Year BOE
Licenses/Certifications Required: 

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain Monthly/Bi-weekly Cost Reports (Profit Projections and Work in Process (WIP)
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers and venders
  • Coordinate with General Superintendent on project manpower requirements
  • Prepare and maintain Schedule of Values and Pay Applications throughout the Project duration
  • Build and implement project schedules
  • Create and maintain Change Orders and Logs
  • Oversee and plan each Electrical Project with GC from pre-construction through turnover on all projects
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple commercial projects at the same time and work in conjunction with the field superintendent and their daily operations to ensure that they are complete, on time, and under budget
  • Oversee and manage daily project coordination
  • Approve invoices for Vendor Payment
  • Respond to issues for ongoing project(s) RFI’s (request for information) in a timely manner
  • Review addendums and changes for building purposes
  • Keep and maintain communications between company and GC’s, subcontractors and owner/developers throughout the building process
Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • MUST have strong background in commercial electrical construction projects ranging from $250K-$10MM
  • Solid understanding of the National Electric Code, switchgear, lighting, generators, and basic low-voltage systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is required.
  • Experience using ConEstis ideal. However, training can be provided for candidates with experience in Accubidor similar estimating software.
  • Familiarity with Procoreis a plus, but not mandatory.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be aware of OSHA safety standards
  • Maybe exposed to heights and loud noises  
  • May need to occasionally climb stairs and/or ladders.  
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, and bending
  • May need to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
  • Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.

Pay Transparency
The anticipated salary range for this position is $75,000 to $95,000 Per Year, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
