Job description

Skillforce has teamed up with a leading electrical contractor to find a skilled Electrical Project Manager to work on their commercial projects. Healthcare experience is a plus.

This is a full-time, direct hire position based out of Greenville, SC with occasional travel.

Electrical Project Manager Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $110-$125k

  • Background check, drug screen, and MVR required

Electrical Project Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the submittal process by gathering, reviewing, and evaluating vendor information while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Coordinate permitting and inspection activities alongside administrative staff to ensure project compliance and scheduling accuracy.

  • Develop and maintain material and labor cost reports in alignment with established project budgets.

  • Monitor and track project equipment allocations and incorporate related costs into budget reporting.

  • Conduct pre-construction planning meetings with foremen to review project scope, schedules, and manpower requirements.

  • Lead post-project closeout activities, including final reviews and project presentations.

  • Create and maintain detailed project schedules, regularly tracking progress and adjusting timelines based on project developments and team feedback.

  • Coordinate with support staff to secure required lighting and gear types for the jobsite after consulting with the GC and foreman regarding project needs.

  • Evaluate and communicate manpower requirements during weekly scheduling meetings while maintaining a proactive approach to workforce planning.

  • Maintain consistent communication with general contractors, foremen, and upper management while serving as the primary liaison between company personnel and the GC/Owner.

  • Demonstrate strong independent decision-making skills with the ability to act confidently without direct supervision.

Electrical Project Manager Qualifications

  • 3+ years of commercial electrical project management experience.

  • Healthcare experience is a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods and projects.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean MVR required.
