Job Description: Electrical Project Manager I - Commercial & Industrial


LiveWire Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This position is responsible for safety, schedule, cost control, client satisfaction, profitability, procurement, contract administration, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple concurrent electrical construction projects.
  • Complete contract administration and change order management.
  • Manage project budgets, planning, billings, cash flow, and profitability.
  • Lead procurement, material purchasing, and subcontractor buyouts.
  • Coordinate field operations, manpower planning, and productivity tracking.
  • Oversee RFIs, submittals, drawing revisions, and project documentation.
  • Conduct project kickoff, progress, and closeout meetings.
  • Maintain strong client, GC, engineer, and vendor relationships.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers.
  • Ensure OSHA and company safety compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of electrical construction project management experience.
  • Commercial and industrial electrical project experience - full lifecycle from award, and procurement through installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Overseeing installation of lighting fixtures, power distribution and monitoring, and low-voltage systems (security, fire alarm, IT / data networks).
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, contracts, scheduling, and project controls.
  • Ability to read plans, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Strong financial and cost-management skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation abilities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office skills.
  • Valid driver license and ability to visit job sites.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field experience.
  • OSHA 30 Certification.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, ConEst, Accubid, or Microsoft Project.
  • Background as electrician, foreman, superintendent, estimator, or project engineer.
