Marketing Systems Specialist

Essential Criteria:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, information systems or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three to five years of experience in marketing operations, systems administration, project management or a related role.
  • Experience administering and optimizing software platforms, with preferred exposure to marketing, sales or project management tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze processes, identify inefficiencies and implement practical, scalable solutions.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize work, manage timelines and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Effective communication skills to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable information for business users.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization and follow-through to ensure accuracy, system integrity and timely execution.
  • Some travel and night/weekend work possible
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Innovative problem-solving with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with Musco solutions is a plus.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Analyze marketing department system and technology needs; identify gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities to streamline processes and improve performance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize initiatives, develop implementation plans and drive adoption of new or enhanced systems and workflows.
  • Administer and optimize marketing and sales-support platforms (e.g. digital asset management, project management, reporting, lead generation and trade show tools) to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage system lifecycle activities, including vendor coordination, license administration, contract renewals and ongoing system configuration and enhancements.
  • Lead and support project management efforts for system implementations and process improvements; monitor timelines, deliverables and stakeholder communication.
  • Ensure ongoing system effectiveness through performance monitoring, issue resolution, reporting and user training on new features and best practices.
  • Perform additional responsibilities within the scope of the role and aligned with the employee's training and demonstrated competencies.
