Job description

Our client is seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer to support the design and delivery of high-quality building systems across a diverse portfolio of projects. This role blends technical design leadership, multidisciplinary coordination, and client engagement within a collaborative, people-focused engineering environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical system design from schematic through construction documents using Revit and related tools

  • Design power distribution, lighting, controls, fire alarm, and low-voltage building systems

  • Perform engineering calculations including load analysis, fault current, and coordination studies

  • Coordinate with architects and engineering disciplines to ensure code-compliant, constructible designs

  • Support construction administration including RFIs, submittal reviews, and site visits

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related ABET-accredited program

  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license; EITs pursuing licensure may be considered

  • 4+ years of experience designing electrical systems for building projects

  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and standard engineering software

  • Strong understanding of applicable building and electrical codes
