Job description

Position Purpose:
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by ensuring the efficient movement of materials and products within our plant. Your primary responsibility will be to operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport goods safely and accurately. You will also be responsible for maintaining the organization of the warehouse, ensuring that products are stored in their designated locations. Attention to detail is essential, as you will be required to perform order picking and inventory management tasks. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to the overall productivity and success of the manufacturing operations
Duties, Tasks, and Responsibilities:
  • Unload, stack, wrap, move, and stage materials using forklift
  • Track inventory movements & assist other drivers as needed
  • Assist with all shipping and receiving of product
  • Identify damages and report quality deficiencies
  • Inspect forklift and keep updated service records
  • Maintain a safe warehouse and drive a safety-first culture
  • Ensure good housekeeping and cleanliness throughout the facility
  • Follow all warehouse policies and standard operating procedures

Education, Skills and Abilities:
  • Highschool diploma/GED preferred
  • Certified forklift operator license
  • Warehouse or forklift experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift 50+lbs
  • Comfortable working independently
