Lighthouse Lab Services is excited to represent a laboratory in the Boston, MA area that is looking for a LCMS Toxicology Technologist to join their growing team!

The ideal candidate will have high complexity clinical toxicology experience and be comfortable working with LCMS Toxicology instrumentation and testing.

One of the unique benefits of this position is that Lighthouse Lab Services provides remote laboratory management support, including LC-MS/MS data review, analysis, quality oversight, and result reporting. This allows the on-site technologist to focus primarily on specimen preparation, instrument operation, quality control, and day-to-day laboratory workflow rather than spending time reviewing chromatograms or interpreting patient results.

Position Overview:

  • Perform specimen preparation for toxicology testing.
  • Operate and maintain LC-MS/MS instrumentation for routine clinical testing.
  • Perform daily quality control, calibration, and preventative maintenance.
  • Review instrument performance and troubleshoot routine technical issues.
  • Ensure accurate specimen handling and documentation throughout the testing process.
  • Maintain compliance with laboratory SOPs and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with workflow to ensure timely turnaround of patient results.
  • Collaborate with laboratory leadership to support daily operations and quality initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

  • B.S. in Biology, Clinical Lab Science, or related field
  • Have at least 1 year of laboratory training or experience in high complexity testing
  • MT (ASCP) or equivalent preferred
  • Indiko Plus and Agilent 6400 instrument experience a plus

Salary / Shift:?

  • Salary: $36-$40/hr
  • Day Shift: Monday-Friday
