Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dependable and safety-focused Light Duty Flatbed Tow Truck Operator to join our team. This role involves transporting vehicles safely and efficiently, assisting with light-duty towing and recovery operations, and maintaining a professional presence when interacting with customers.
The ideal candidate is responsible, mechanically inclined, and committed to providing excellent service while adhering to all safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a light-duty flatbed tow truck to transport vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Perform light-duty towing and basic recovery services in accordance with company procedures.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and equipment.
  • Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation for completed jobs.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with dispatch, team members, and customers.
  • Uphold all safety guidelines and traffic regulations at all times.
Required Qualifications:
  • Must be 25 years of age or older.
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
  • Minimum of 6 months of towing experience.
  • Ability to lift, pull, and/or carry 50 lbs or more.
  • Basic knowledge of light-duty recovery techniques.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Must reside in or near Newark, Bear, Elkton, or Middletown, DE.
