Job Summary:
ShiftCode Analytics, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Liferay Developer to join their technology team. This role focuses on the design, development, testing, integration, and support of banking applications, emphasizing Java and Liferay DXP portal development.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and support Java and Liferay DXP portal applications independently.
• Participate in application design sessions and propose technical alternatives that support business objectives while reducing technical debt.
• Create detailed design specifications for implementation and ensure high-quality system software.
• Write and execute unit tests to validate application functionality against business requirements.
• Maintain application builds, deployments, and configurations.
• Perform peer reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with project management and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless application integration and coordination.
• Stay updated on trends and emerging technologies in the software development industry.
• Communicate status updates and track time against project deliverables on a daily basis.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong communication skills – both verbal and written – with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders and technical team members.
• Proficiency in: Java 8 and above
• Proficiency in: Liferay DXP 7.2 and above
• Proficiency in: Java Server Pages (JSP)
• Proficiency in: Git
• Proficiency in: SQL Server
• Proficiency in: HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• Proven ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision.
