Job Description
The incumbent in this position is responsible for safeguarding patrons visiting the Seminole Tribe of Florida aquatics facilities or when engaged in a STOF activity at any public aquatics facility. Ensures orderly behavior of patrons; prevents injury or loss of life of the patrons who are swimming or bathing; rescues those who might be in distress and performs water rescue and prevention techniques, first aid, and CPR. Duties also include a variety of maintenance tasks. High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required. Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training certification and current American Red Cross CPR and First Aid certification are required. Prior experience as a lifeguard is preferred. Must have a valid Florida Driver's License. Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
