Clarivate is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager sales professional to join our Field Accounts team within our Life Sciences & Healthcare business. In this role, you will lead highvalue customer relationships, develop and execute strategic account plans, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. You will oversee daytoday account activities, drive meaningful revenue growth, and foster effective crossfunctional collaboration to support longterm customer success and business expansion.

The Senior Account Manager is a senior individual contributor responsible for managing, growing, and expanding relationships with key global clients across Life Sciences and Healthcare. This role owns a portfolio of high-value enterprise accounts and serves as a trusted advisor to senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders. The primary objective is to drive revenue growth, retention, and long-term customer value.

About You - Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience supporting Clinical Trials, Contract Research Organizations (CROs), or Life Sciences R&D organizations.

  • Experience selling solutions and services within the Life Sciences & Healthcare industry.

  • Experience developing and managing strategic customer relationships and driving revenue growth.

It would be great if you also have:

  • Experience in life science or software sales.

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Lead efforts to achieve sales goals by meeting targets and proactively identifying high-value opportunities for upselling.

  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts to senior management through consistent and strategic communication.

  • Develop and execute Account Plans through collaboration with the wider account team.

  • Collaborate effectively with key customers and potential leads, adhering to and refining the established sales cycle and processes.

  • Deeply understand customer needs and present innovative and compelling solutions to their problems.

  • Manage and oversee customer opportunities through the entire sales cycle from identifying needs, through solution development and presentation, to quoting, negotiating, and closing the sale.

  • Continuously enhance knowledge of Clarivate products and services to effectively position our solutions and drive customer success.

  • Actively engage in high-level meetings and events, sharing strategic insights on customers, products, and sales with the broader team.

  • Maintain and exceed meeting volumes as established by Sales Management to ensure consistent engagement and productivity.

  • Identify and target high-potential roles within existing customers to expand business opportunities and drive growth.

Hours of Work

The expected base salary for this position is $105,600 - $132,000 USD per year.This role is eligible for sales incentive earnings.Individual pay is based upon experience, education, skill and ability, expertise, and relevant factors.
