Work you'll do

As a Manager, Life Science Market Access on the Deloitte Life Sciences & Health Care practice team, you will be responsible for delivering Market Access, pricing, and reimbursement engagements for Life Sciences clients.

  • Lead Market Access workstreams spanning pricing, reimbursement, payer strategy, value communication, and evidence generation.
  • Partner with client access strategy, medical, and commercial leaders to address market access priorities and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Translate business questions into structured analyses, synthesized insights, and client-ready deliverables.
  • Manage day-to-day client delivery, including working sessions, scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and executive-level communications.
  • Support practice growth through pursuits, solution development, team coaching, and the use of analytics and artificial intelligence-enabled tools to improve delivery quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 6+ years of experience in Market Access, pricing, reimbursement, or Life Sciences commercial strategy consulting
  • 4+ years of experience working with Market Access and payer-facing client teams
  • 4+ years of experience in the US Life Sciences ecosystem, including payer dynamics, reimbursement pathways, access challenges, and evidence requirements
  • 4+ years of experience serving pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other Life Sciences clients, including pursuit support, solution development, and engagement delivery
  • 2+ years of experience evaluating healthcare value chain economics and stakeholder incentives by stakeholder group
  • 1+ years of experience using artificial intelligence tools in day-to-day workflow
  • Ability to travel 30%+, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

  • Experience leading workstreams in pricing, reimbursement, payer strategy, value communication, or evidence generation
  • Experience preparing executive-level deliverables for client and internal leadership audiences
  • Experience facilitating client working sessions and presenting recommendations to stakeholders
  • Experience using analytics tools to support business insights and recommendations
  • Experience collaborating with technical teams to translate business requirements into analytical or technology-enabled solutions

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $163,400 to $322,100.
