Life Safety Officer
Role Information
Location: Wesley Glen | 5155 N High St, Columbus, OH 43214
Schedule: Full -Time |
  • Sunday - Thursday, 11:00pm - 7:00am
  • Tuesday- Saturday, 11:00pm-7:00am

You, our Ideal Candidate
You are observant, proactive, and take pride in keeping others safe. You work well independently and understand the importance of detailed safety protocols and clear communication. You're dependable, calm under pressure, and always ready to support the well-being of our community.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure security of the entire campus, including parking areas
  • Maintain fire and emergency procedures and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Communicate safety and security protocols across the campus
  • Accumulate, maintain and provide statistics and reports as directed
  • Investigate safety and security incidents that occur on campus property. Report all accidents or incidents involving residents or staff personal to Department Head
  • Inspect and maintain life safety equipment
  • Test fire alarms, detection systems, extinguishers, and emergency call systems

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification
  • Valid Driver's License
