Job description

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team in Clawson, MI. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Help with mobility and transferring clients safely.
  • Monitor clients’ health and report any changes to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients.
  • Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals and family members.
  • Document care activities and client progress accurately and timely.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar role preferred.
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong commitment to client care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass background checks and meet health and safety requirements.
