While a Life Insurance Illustration is a detailed projection of policy benefits and costs, a Life Insurance Agent is a professional who sells and explains these policies. The illustration provides visual and numerical data to help clients understand potential outcomes, whereas the agent uses this information to guide clients in choosing suitable coverage. Both roles require knowledge of insurance products, but the illustration is a tool used by agents to facilitate sales and client understanding.

What is the highest paying life insurance company to work for?

What is a life insurance illustration?

A life insurance illustration is a detailed document provided by insurance companies that projects how a life insurance policy might perform over time. It shows estimates of future premiums, cash values, death benefits, and other important policy features based on certain assumptions about interest rates, fees, and policyholder actions. These illustrations help customers understand the potential costs and benefits of a policy, but actual results may differ if the underlying assumptions change. It's important to review these documents carefully and ask your agent questions to fully understand your policy.

How much can I sell a $100,000 life insurance policy for?
