Job Summary:
Develops and coordinates electrical models and drawings within Building Information Modeling (BIM) environments to ensure constructability and accuracy. Collaborates with engineers, project teams, and field personnel to prepare detailed, code-compliant electrical designs. Applies knowledge of electrical systems and construction processes to assist with prefabrication planning and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Develops and modifies electrical models, drawings, and schematics using Revit, AutoCAD, Evolve and Navisworks.
Coordinates with engineers, project teams, and field personnel to produce constructible and code-compliant designs.
Identifies and assists in resolving model clashes through BIM coordination processes.
Applies project specifications, industry standards, and local codes to modeling work.
Supports material take-offs and prefabrication planning activities.
Maintains version control and documentation of design revisions.
Education Qualifications:
Associate's degree in electrical design, drafting, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience:
2+ years of experience in electrical detailing, modeling, or related roles required.
Certifications and Licenses:
None required.
