Magnolia Companies is seeking a skilled Mechanical & Plumbing BIM Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing accurate 3D models of Mechanical Systems Piping/Equipment Layout in Revit for preparing Shop Drawings and Points Layout for field installation and shop fabrication.


Responsibilities

  • Using Project Plans, Specifications and Submittals.
  • Accurately produce 3D models of Mechanical Systems Piping/Equipment Layout in Revit for preparing Shop Drawings and Points Layout for field installation and shop fabrication.
  • Follow BIM Execution Plan (Model Standards, naming conventions, Data Exchange Protocols).
  • Manage changes and update model.
  • Identify/Address Potential Conflicts through RFI Process.
  • Participate/Collaborate/Resolve Issues during Coordination/Clash Detection, communicating with Team Members and other Trade Disciplines.
Requirements:
  • Strong Knowledge of the Construction Process and Plumbing/Mechanical Systems/Modeling using Revit Software & Functionalities, Model Review, Clash Detection and Coordination Workflows.
  • Strong Knowledge of Software Applications (Microsoft Office, Bluebeam Revu, Revit, Navisworks, Vic Tools).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Strong knowledge of Mechanical Systems Piping/Equipment Layout.
