To thrive as a Life Drawing Model, you need strong body awareness, the physical ability to hold poses for extended periods, and reliability for scheduled sessions; formal qualifications are not typically required. No technical tools or certifications are generally needed, but familiarity with posing techniques and comfortable attire are helpful. Job description

BIM Architectural Production Specialist

Imagine starting your day by opening a coordinated model that you own—either the full drawing set for a small-to-mid size project or a defined package on a large, complex build. You move with minimal oversight, anticipating and correcting issues before the Project Architect ever sees them. By afternoon, you've advanced permit-ready sheets, resolved a tricky curtain wall head detail, and posted a clean coordination set to the team.

What you'll tackle
  • Drive the creation of complete construction documents from design development through permit and bid stages.
  • Lead cross-discipline model coordination (structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil), performing clash checks and maintaining a clear issue log.
  • Generate and continuously synchronize door, window, room finish, and equipment schedules with the model.
  • Draft advanced details: wall sections; stair and elevator sections; roof transition conditions; curtain wall head/sill/jamb; waterproofing terminations.
  • Assemble code-review exhibits including occupancy/egress diagrams, life safety plans, and tagging for fire- and smoke-rated assemblies with correct UL designations.
  • Manage consultant background files and publish disciplined coordination sets.
  • Coach Level I drafters on standards, methods, and effective production workflows.
  • Support construction administration by processing submittals into the record set and preparing ASKs and bulletin drawings.
What you bring
  • 3–6 years of architectural production experience in a design firm or design-build setting.
  • Expertise in Revit and AutoCAD, including families, parameters, phasing, work-sharing, view templates, and shared coordinates.
  • Working command of building code fundamentals, ADA clearances, and rated assembly requirements.
  • Ability to translate consultant redlines and field-verified conditions directly into the model and drawings.
Nice to have
  • Custom Revit family development; familiarity with Dynamo.
  • Field exposure or a construction background.
  • Experience with Norman / Cleveland County and City of OKC permitting submittals.
Tools and proficiencies
  • Revit, AutoCAD
  • Architectural production standards
  • ADA clearance knowledge
  • Design firm workflows
  • Dynamo exposure
  • Mentorship mindset
