The Youth Life Coach contributes to AHF by having an extensive experience working with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender variant youth and their families. The Youth Life Coach enhances the reputation of AHF by providing one-on-one life coaching and case management services with LGBTQ youth and their families.
You will be a passionate advocate for our top initiatives.
To be successful as the Position Title, it is crucial to ensure that the AHF Core Values and Mission stay top of mind with all that you do. At AHF, we are nimble and able to adapt in a dynamic environment to assist in providing the best experience for our clients and workplace for our employees.
AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders.
The Youth Life Coach will work as a part of a close-knit team to assist young people with transitioning into adulthood and connect to services in the area of housing, education, health, life skills, relationships and more. Provides hands-on, real-world instruction to support youth in developing practical life skills and achieving independence.
Licenses and Certifications: Bachelor's degree and 1 to 2 years Youth Services experience. One year office experience and computer experience.
