Position Summary
The Graphic Designer brings the brand to life across retail, digital, and experiential touchpoints, translating marketing strategy into visuals that connect with today's trend-savvy consumer. With a sharp eye for where sports meets style and fan meets fashion, this role helps define the brand's visual voice in a fast-paced, culturally driven environment. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to create on-brand, high-impact creative that drives engagement, tells stories, and moves product.
A primary focus of this role will be supporting Lids Hat Drop, our high-frequency product launch business featuring exclusive and limited-release headwear collections. The Graphic Designer will help develop the creative concepts, visual systems and launch assets required to support multiple weekly releases across digital, social, email, retail and other consumer-facing channels.
This role will balance original creative ideation with high-volume production execution. The designer will work closely with Creative, Marketing, Merchandising, E-commerce, Social and other cross-functional partners to ensure every launch is visually compelling, accurate, on brand and delivered on time. Responsibilities will include contributing to drop ideation, adapting creative across channels, managing revisions and approvals, preparing production-ready files, trafficking final assets and proactively communicating project status, missing inputs and launch risks.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design compelling visuals across in-store campaigns for retail signage, digital ads, email, site, events and social,
  • Craft seasonal campaign assets that fuse brand storytelling with trend-relevant design.
  • Interpret briefs to concept and execute work, via project management tools (Click Up), aligned with brand guidelines and marketing/merchandising strategies.
  • Ensure a cohesive visual experience across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Adapt national campaigns into local market-ready assets and promotional messaging.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across marketing, merchandising, real estate, HR, etc. to bring design assets to life
  • Research emerging cultural, fashion, and sports trends to inform visual style and tone
  • Deliver production-ready files and manage multiple projects on tight timelines

Job Required Knowledge and Skills
  • 1-3 years of design experience, preferably in a fashion, sports, lifestyle, or retail brand environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Communications, or related field
  • Strong portfolio showcasing retail, digital, and lifestyle-driven design work
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Clear understanding of layout, color, typography, and brand systems
  • Familiarity with designing for both print and digital environments
  • Understanding of fan culture, streetwear trends, and how sports intersects with fashion

Preferred Job Required Knowledge and Skills
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of print production for a retail environment
  • Experience working in or alongside brand, retail, or experiential marketing teams leveraging project management software (ex. g., ClickUp)
  • Basic motion graphics or video editing a plus (ex., Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Canva)
  • Working knowledge of basic 3D modeling and CAD design tools a plus (ex., SketchUp, Enscape)
  • Ability to translate trend research into visual executions
  • Knowledge of production processes for retail and out-of-home assets
