Job description

We are seeking a licensed mental health therapist to facilitate Saturday group programming for veterans at our Arley location. Services include structured therapeutic groups and occasional community outings with veterans. This role is ideal for a clinician experienced in veteran populations, trauma-informed care, and group facilitation.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate therapeutic groups for veterans

Provide trauma-informed, clinically appropriate interventions

Support occasional supervised outings with veteran participants

Maintain professional documentation consistent with clinical and regulatory standards

Collaborate with program leadership and treatment team as needed

Required Qualifications:

Active Alabama license as one of the following:

LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)

LICSW / LCSW

MSW

LMFT or comparably qualified licensed therapist

Experience working with veterans and/or trauma-related conditions strongly preferred

Strong group facilitation skills

Professional boundaries and reliability for a fixed weekly schedule

Preferred Experience:

PTSD, substance use, or dual-diagnosis treatment

Veteran, first responder, or military-affiliated populations
