Library Technical Services refer to the behind-the-scenes operations in a library that support the acquisition, organization, and maintenance of library materials. This typically includes cataloging, processing, classifying, and preserving books, journals, and digital resources. Staff in technical services ensure that materials are accurately described and accessible in the library's catalog, making it easier for patrons to find and use resources.
