We are looking for a talented People Operations Analyst for a full time, 12-month fixed term contract to step onto a fintech unicorn rocketship! In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • US & Canadian HR Operations: Supporting end-to-end People Operations across US and Canada, including total rewards/benefits administration, Leave of Absence (LOA) processing (FMLA, STD/LTD, parental leave, statutory Canadian leaves), and US/Canadian immigration/visa coordination.
  • Full Employee Lifecycle Administration: Managing end-to-end HR administrative processes including documentation, maintaining employee files, system updates, onboarding, internal movements, offboarding, life cycle events, payroll support, employment references, and invoice processing.
  • Employee Experience & Query Resolution: Acting as a first point of contact for People Operations queries, providing clear, responsive advice and guidance to managers and employees across the region with an exceptional, customer-first service mindset.
  • Data Integrity & Systems Management: Maintaining data accuracy across HR and payroll systems through regular audits, cleanup, and timely record updates.
  • Absence & Leave Management: Tracking and managing all leave requests, probation periods, parental/family leave programs, and lifecycle adjustments.
  • HR Analytics & Reporting: Leveraging strong analytical skills to develop reports, templates, dashboards, scorecards, and metrics-delivering monthly HR insights, executive reports, and ad-hoc data requests for stakeholders.
  • Process Documentation & Projects: Mapping, documenting, and scaling a library of People Operations workflows while participating in local and global HR projects.

About You

  • Experience: HR generalist, operations, or coordination experience with demonstrated hands-on exposure to US and Canadian benefits administration, Leave of Absence (LOA) regulations, and immigration processes.
  • Communication & Precision: Strong attention to detail, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with care and confidentiality.
  • Execution: Results-oriented, highly organized, and proactive in solving operational challenges.

Base Salary Range: $63,000 - $78,000 CAD annually.

The compensation information, above, reflects our reasonable expectation for this role based on several factors, including current market conditions. Final compensation will be determined through individual assessment of experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-relevant factors. Actual offers may vary within or, only in exceptional circumstances, outside the stated range based on the candidate's unique qualifications and our comprehensive evaluation process.
