Channel Factory is headquartered in the United States and has global offices across 40+ cities/countries. This position will be a hybrid role based in New York City or Chicago.

The Senior Social Buyer is pivotal in the seamless execution of digital campaigns across primary social platforms like Meta and TikTok, as well as emerging platforms. They are responsible for the setup, monitoring, and optimization of campaigns to ensure we meet performance expectations. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues, implementing innovative solutions, and leveraging advanced platform management tools and AI for strategic experimentation and optimization. The Senior Social Buyer also plays a critical role in gathering data into actionable insights, assisting account management in crafting data-driven narratives that enhance client engagement and satisfaction. This role encompasses a commitment to technological adeptness, client-focused innovation, and collaborative problem-solving, ensuring that each campaign delivers exceptional results and strategic value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Media Buying: Develop and implement media buying strategies that align with the company's GTM strategy, guaranteeing performance. Focus primarily on Meta and TikTok, optimizing spending to achieve KPI goals.
  • Budget Management: Manage and allocate budgets effectively across platforms, ensuring optimal spend while meeting campaign objectives.
  • Delivery of Campaign Budgets/Units: Ensure the complete and timely delivery of campaign budgets and units as per client agreements and campaign plans.
  • Maintain and Maximize Margins: Closely monitor and manage financial margins to ensure profitability. Implement strategies to maximize margins, which is a critical priority for the business's ongoing success and competitive edge.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Assist the account management team in the analysis and reporting of data from campaigns. Assist with developing comprehensive reports that not only detail performance metrics but also narrate a compelling story for clients, illustrating the value and impact of the campaigns.
  • Collaboration with Account Management Teams: Work closely with account management teams on RFPs, campaign briefs, planning, and pricing strategies to ensure comprehensive service offerings and competitive positioning in the market.
  • International Coordination: Collaborate with international teams to align processes and ensure that client expectations are met to guarantee campaign performance.
  • Platform Management and AI Tools: Utilize advanced platform management technologies and AI tools like Pixis for hyper-experimentation and cross-platform optimization to dynamically adjust and push ad groups within Meta and across other platforms.
  • Hiring and Training: Assist in the hiring process by participating in interviews and the selection of candidates. Develop and execute training programs for new hires to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Digital Marketing Experience: At least 5 years of experience in digital marketing, including SEM, SEO, Facebook/PMDs, and/or Programmatic/Trading Desks buying and execution.
  • Certifications: Possession of AdWords, YouTube, and/or Facebook certifications will be considered a significant advantage.
  • Industry Knowledge: A thorough understanding of the digital advertising space, including up-to-date knowledge of marketplace trends, third-party research partners, Data Management Platforms (DMPs), and relevant studies.
  • Analytical Skills: A strong aptitude for data and analytics with a keen eye for extracting meaningful insights from complex data sets.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Demonstrated initiative and a proactive approach to testing innovative buying techniques and exploring new opportunities in digital advertising.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage and prioritize multiple campaigns across various U.S. time zones, platforms, and ad formats efficiently.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Excel, including calculations, pivot tables, and graph creation.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills required for effective communication in-person, on the phone, and via virtual platforms.
