SER.O.YA is currently looking for eager interns to join us for the SUMMER 25 semester. (START JUNE 2025)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in day-to-day operations of the design and production teams.
  • Accurately specing garments and logging them into tech packs.
  • Exposure to creating and updating tech packs.
  • Maintaining bulk approval, fabric, and trim library. Creating flat sketches on Adobe Illustrator and coloring CADS.
  • Observe the development process from design development to bulk production.
  • Create packages for the team to be sent to factories and help track incoming packages.
  • Maintain order of the design room.
  • Fixing garments that are missing trims or sequins.
  • Running errands to go to vendors or trim stores.
  • Steam garments and organize design racks when necessary.

Requirements

  • Must live in the New York City Metro area
  • New graduates or current students are welcome.
  • Strong willingness to learn and improve.
  • Must be responsible, team-worker, reliable, and have a positive and can-do attitude.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Professional, pleasant attitude, and proactive.
  • Adaptability to handle multiple projects and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Excel.Proficient in creating flats and CADS on Adobe Illustrator
  • Animal lover (we have an office puppy)
  • Knowledge in embroidery and embellishment is a plus experience Specing and measuring garments is a plus.
