JOB DESCRIPTION

The FOX Internship Program offers an exciting opportunity for you to gain practical experience while interning for one of the biggest sports, media, and entertainment companies in the world. You will have the opportunity to participate in real-world projects, which provides valuable work experience and leadership skills.

Please note that this internship is an on-site opportunity in Chicago, IL.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Assist with metadata tagging and understanding nomenclatures within our ecosystem
  • Assist with the organization of internal and external media cataloging and transferring our library to cloud storage
  • Fulling requests from networks, athletic departments, vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Archive footage in our multiple storage systems
  • Upload footage using Adobe Premiere
  • Maintain and organize our database, along with creating new user accounts
  • Assist with day-to-day workflows

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER:

  • Experience in library sciences, asset management certifications or similar studies
  • Knowledge of Newsroom software systems

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree during the length of the program
  • Current class standing of sophomore, (second-year college student) or above
  • Strong academic record
  • Committed and available to work for the entire length of the program
  • Access to own housing and transportation to/from the assigned Internship site
  • Must be able to work on-site in Chicago, IL

STUDENTS SELECTED TO MOVE FORWARD IN THE INTERVIEW PROCESS:

  • Must demonstrate knowledge of the company and sports media industry
  • Knowledge of Big Ten Network programming and live events
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or similar editing software
