Job description

  1. Minimum 8 to 10+ Years’ experience managing multiple Backup technologies like Comm‑vault, Networker, Data Domain, Avamar etc.
  2. Solid knowledge of Comm‑vault is must.
  3. Hands‑on experience with Installation and Configuration of backup technologies of Comm‑vault (but not limited to it). Good experience in executing technology transformation projects, e.g., NBU / TSM to Comm‑vault migration.
  4. Experience with scripting for backup on Windows and Unix.
  5. Basic administration on UNIX/Windows for Server/Storage node, clients.
  6. Backup configuration and troubleshooting using CLI and GUI.
  7. Administration and configuration of the following:
    • Storage Nodes
    • Networker Module for Exchange
    • Networker Module for Microsoft Applications
    • VCB/VADP/HyperV based backup
    • Networker Module for SharePoint
  8. Hands‑on experience managing VTLs and tape libraries.
  9. Leading the overall backup environment.
