Welder/Grinder
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking experienced welders to join our Manufacturing team, working on building home and gun safes. Applicants must have welding experience and be able to pass a weld test. We offer an in-house certification program, along with on-the-job and cross-training opportunities. This is a great chance to grow and develop in a company with room for advancement.
Regular schedule for the position is Monday – Thursday, 5:00 am – 3:30 pm. Fridays are occasionally worked.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role involves welding and/or grinding to support the production line, working as part of a team to produce safes. Responsibilities include moving between areas as needed, loading/unloading steel, verifying part dimensions, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The position requires the ability to operate all machines if needed, meet daily production goals, perform preventive maintenance on equipment, and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Adherence to safety regulations, reporting scrap steel, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks are also essential.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have experience welding and grinding
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs regularly
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields
  • Familiarity with metal work and assembly tools and equipment
  • Ability to handle physical workload, including repeated and constant standing, bending, stooping, lifting, etc.
  • Ability to work well in teams
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Good attendance habits
