Job description

The Impact You Will Have:

Liberty Home Guard is the country’s fastest-growing and best-rated home warranty company. We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team and help our customers manage and carry out the procurement process for supplies, and equipment relating to their home repair (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical).

We are seeking a team member that is able to research new suppliers, ensuring that all purchased products and materials meet our specifications, and negotiating with vendors as needed. To do this effectively, you will need to have strong decision and negotiation skills as well as develop knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical systems, minor and large appliances.

You will be on the front line of ensuring the organization's supply needs are met in a time efficient manner and within the allocated budget.

  • Manage relationships with our supplier partners.
  • Differentiate models and prices as well as shipping times among multiple suppliers.
  • Ensure procurement orders are compatible with customer’s needs in their home and suitable for installation.
  • Keep track of ongoing invoices and past orders.
  • Strategic planning of procurement processes.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements
  • Compare available goods with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing.
