Responsibilities
  • Draft comprehensive scopes of work for various construction projects, ensuring all aspects of the project are covered and aligned with client goals.
  • Develop detailed and accurate RFPs to solicit bids from qualified contractors and vendors, providing strategic guidance to clients on vendor selection and contract negotiation.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the scope and RFPs meet project requirements and standards, advising on best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Review and analyze bids, negotiate contracts, and manage contractor performance, acting as an advocate for client interests.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day construction operations, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Manage construction documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and daily logs.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Ensure proper documentation and communication of project changes, maintaining accurate records throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, fostering long‑term relationships based on trust and mutual respect.
  • Understand client needs and objectives, ensuring projects align with their business goals and expectations.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to clients, maintaining transparency and open communication throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Conduct regular project meetings to provide updates, address any issues, and offer consultative guidance on project direction.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies, providing clients with expert advice on risk management.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues that may impact timelines or quality, offering proactive solutions.
Requirements
  • MUST live in Northern California
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Qualifying experience in the roofing industry can be considered in lieu of degree
  • Current minimum Class B General Contractor License or ability to become licensed as a General Contractor in all Colorado jurisdictions.
  • Supervisors license is a big plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible managerial and administrative experience in the construction and roofing field, 5 years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity.
  • OSHA Certifications and experience with project site safety protocols.
