Here is what you need to know about the job:
Supporting the Global Creative & Trend team in identifying what is next in fashion through research into emerging consumer behaviors, macro trends, cultural movements, and evolving street and social style. Contributing trend insights that help shape future knitwear collections for leading global brands. Creating compelling visual stories, trend reports, mood boards, and seasonal concepts while supporting the team throughout the forecasting and creative development process.
Locations: New York
Work Arrangement: Hybrid | Part-time
Compensation: US$17 | Eligible for School Credit
Duration: 12 Months
What You'll Do
Trend Research & Cultural Insights
  • Research macro fashion, lifestyle, and consumer trends

  • Monitor cultural shifts, emerging behaviors, and social influences

  • Identify emerging brands, designers, creators, and trend movements

  • Stay connected across fashion, design, culture, technology, and entertainment

Trend Scouting
  • Scout retail, street style, fashion weeks, and social and digital platforms

  • Conduct in-store and online trend research

  • Track emerging color, silhouette, texture, and knitwear directions

Visual Storytelling & Content Creation
  • Create trend reports, mood boards, social content, and seasonal concept presentations

  • Translate research into clear and compelling visual stories using Canva

  • Create AI-generated concept imagery using tools such as ChatGPT and Claude

  • Support concept development and seasonal creative narratives

Collaboration & Presentation
  • Present research, insights, and ideas confidently to the wider creative team

  • Contribute to trend forecasting for future knitwear collections

  • Collaborate with the Global Creative & Trend team throughout the creative process

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Marketing, Trend Forecasting, Textile Design, or a related discipline

  • Strong interest in trend forecasting, fashion, retail, and consumer behavior

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Microsoft Office is beneficial

  • Interest in learning AI tools, including ChatGPT and Claude

  • Knowledge of knitwear is a plus but not required
