Vice President, Sales - Builder Channel & Signature Kitchen Suite (SKS)
Position Summary
The Vice President of Sales - Builder Channel & Signature Kitchen Suite (SKS) is a strategic executive leader responsible for driving profitable revenue growth, expanding market share, and strengthening LG's position within the residential builder, developer, architect, designer, and luxury appliance markets.
This leader will oversee the sales strategy and execution for both LG's Builder Channel and Signature Kitchen Suite (SKS), ensuring alignment between the two businesses while leveraging the unique value proposition of each brand. The Vice President will cultivate executive-level relationships with national and regional builders, developers, distributors, dealers, architects, designers, and channel partners to accelerate growth and enhance customer experience.
As a member of the Sales Leadership Team, this executive will collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Customer Service, and Human Resources to deliver exceptional business results while fostering a high-performance, customer-centric culture.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Representation & Industry Leadership:
Serve as LG's senior executive representative across the Builder and Luxury Appliances markets, driving strategic engagement with key customers, industry leaders, and business partners. Represent the company's vision, brand value, and business priorities through executive relationships, industry forums, and strategic partnerships, further strengthening LG's market influence, thought leadership, and brand authority.
Strategic Leadership:
* Develop and execute the long-term sales strategy for the Builder Channel and SKS businesses, aligned with LG's overall corporate objectives.
* Identify new growth opportunities through market analysis, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and emerging industry trends.
* Lead annual business planning, revenue forecasting, market share objectives, and strategic investment priorities.
* Drive sustainable, profitable growth while optimizing channel performance and customer satisfaction.
Sales Leadership:
* Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing national sales organization.
* Establish clear performance expectations, accountability, and succession planning for sales leaders and team members.
* Create a culture focused on collaboration, innovation, continuous improvement, and execution excellence.
* Coach leaders to build strong customer relationships while delivering exceptional business results.
Customer & Channel Management:
* Build and maintain executive relationships with national and regional home builders, developers, distributors, luxury dealers, architects, designers, and other strategic partners.
* Serve as the executive sponsor for key customer relationships and major business negotiations.
* Identify opportunities to expand LG's presence in production builders, custom builders, multifamily housing, and luxury residential projects.
* Partner with channel organizations to improve customer experience and drive long-term loyalty.
Signature Kitchen Suite (SKS) Brand Leadership:
* Champion the continued growth and market positioning of SKS as a premier luxury appliance brand.
* Partner closely with Marketing to elevate brand awareness and strengthen relationships within the luxury design and builder community.
* Drive strategic initiatives that increase market penetration among architects, designers, luxury builders, and premium retailers.
* Ensure the premium customer experience reflects the standards of a luxury brand.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
* Partner with Product Management to influence product roadmap based on customer and market feedback.
* Collaborate with Marketing to develop go-to-market strategies, promotional initiatives, and customer engagement programs.
* Work closely with Supply Chain and Operations to improve forecasting accuracy, inventory availability, and service levels.
* Partner with Finance to manage budgets, pricing strategies, profitability, and investment decisions.
* Foster strong partnerships across the organization to ensure seamless execution and operational excellence.
Financial Management:
* Own revenue, profitability, operating expense, and market share performance for both businesses.
* Develop and manage annual operating plans and sales budgets.
* Utilize data analytics and business intelligence to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
* Deliver accurate forecasts and executive reporting to senior leadership.
Organizational Leadership:
* Build an inclusive, high-performing organization that attracts, develops, and retains top talent.
* Lead organizational change initiatives that improve effectiveness and support business transformation.
* Promote a culture centered on integrity, accountability, innovation, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Required
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
* 15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience within consumer durables, appliances, building products, luxury goods, or a related industry.
* Proven executive leadership experience managing national sales organizations.
* Demonstrated success selling through builder, dealer, distributor, or luxury retail channels.
* Strong financial acumen with experience managing multimillion-dollar revenue and operating budgets.
* Track record of delivering consistent revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability.
* Exceptional executive presence with outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Experience leading organizational transformation and developing high-performing teams.
* Ability to travel domestically & internationally as business needs require.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience within the appliance industry or premium consumer products.
* Strong relationships within the residential builder, developer, architect, and interior design communities.
* Experience managing luxury brands and premium customer experiences.
* Familiarity with national and regional home builders and the luxury residential construction market.
* Experience working within a global organization and collaborating across international teams.
Recruiting Range
$300,000-$355,000 USD
